Welcome to the North Georgia Mountains!
Welcome to the
Episcopal Church of the Resurrection Parish Family
Thank you for visiting our website. We hope this will be the first stop on your journey to know more about us. Please stop by for an on-site visit and join us in worship.
We have regular office hours throughout the week, and our two Sunday Worship Services begin at 8:30 & 10:30 A.M. Each service lasts a little more than an hour and the sermons rarely exceed fifteen minutes. Good order, peace and love infuse our worship together. We have inspiring music, and all who love the Lord Jesus Christ are welcome to receive communion at Resurrection.
We are an Episcopal Church but greatly respect other traditions. As Episcopalians we are called to honor the dignity of every human being and care for all of God's created order. We are a community oriented church rather than an exclusive club. You are welcome here. You have friends here.
Resurrection is a growing church community located in the shadow of Mt. Yonah in the beautiful Sautee-Nacoochee Valley. We feel called to be an increasingly active presence in the wider community of White County and the whole North East Georgia area. As such, we work out matters of importance using reason, Scripture and tradition. We draw upon a lengthy and proud Anglican history and look forward to a bright future. We hope you will choose to be a part of that future.
Take a few minutes to explore our web site further, and don't hesitate to give us a call should you have further questions. We are located at 1755 Duncan Bridge Road between highways 75 and 115. Our office phone is (706) 865-9680.
On behalf of our parish family,
Father Scott Kidd,
Rector
